One of the essential skills in language, “Real life conversation”. This is where we jump into a vast vocabulary, creating fluency and understanding through speaking on a wide range of lifestyle and world topics. A PDF list of topics with descriptions is sent to all new students.

Welcome to the “55 class English course” for CEFR levels B2 C1 C2 which are aimed at students with a current IELTS grade of between 5.5 to 8. This is a supplement program to expand your current level of English using lifestyle and world topics which many traditional text book programs don’t include or present in a rigid manner.
These lessons follow a sequence of learning using PPT, dictionaries, articles and various multimedia, and include the most essential vocabulary, idioms and conversational phrases. They aim to develop fluency, intelligent interaction and accuracy on a multitude of lifestyle and world topics. All classes are 1 hour long. Two or three classes a week are recommended. There are optional assignments or self-study revision after each lesson.
60 minute discussion topic lessons include:
- Speaking. We aim to get you speaking as much as possible during the class. The goal is to work on accuracy and fluency. The conversation classes are for this.
- Listening. When listening to English speakers, how much do you understand? What are the areas for improvement? What English accents are difficult to comprehend
- Reading. All classes come with reading but I also read during the lesson so you can listen to my pronunciation.
- Pronunciation. During the class your pronunciation is assessed.
- Essential grammar mistakes are noted and corrected. Please remember that this structure focuses on essential grammar only. I will assist and also send you links for self study. All grammar is free on the internet. Please ask me for more information.
- My classes are vocabulary intense. After a few lessons you will have PDF lists of all the important words in English. Building vocabulary should be top priority.
