The Oxford 3000 is a list of English words based on their frequency of use. They align to the CEFR scale relevant from A1 beginner to B2 upper intermediate. It is a very important list that should be a priority to master first.

The Oxford 5000 is a list of more advanced English words. It includes the original 3000 words plus 2000 more at C1 level.. They also align to the CEFR scale relevant from B2 upper intermediate to C1 advanced.
